About

hospochurch.org

Was originally created as the facebook page hospochurch as a means of connecting those in the hospitality, airline and tourism sectors in faith discussion, who can find themselves working unsocial hours, and/or based in isolated locations. This page soon attracted the attention of 1,000s of online users across the globe, and now has over 130,000 subscribers.

hospochurch.org was then developed out of recognition of this growing hunger for authentic Christianity to be shown through hospitality.

Now a network of social media enthusiasts, ministers, church planters, and hospitality trainers, have networked to further see the love of Jesus Christ demonstrated through hospitality, by not only outreaching to the hospitality sector, but also equiping individuals and groups in the art of relational evangelism and excellence in hospitality.

In the Bible, the book of Matthew, chapter 11 says: The Son of Man, (Jesus Christ) feasts and drinks, and some say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of sinners!’ But wisdom is shown to be right by its results.”

What an amazing statement! 'Wisdom is shown to be right by its results'.  Our goal should be that of Christ's, to share the Father's heart into the areas where the hurting and broken are.

The team at hospochurch.org currently focus on three main initiatives;

  • Outreach to the hospitality sector
  • Training in relational discipleship
  • Coaching on excellence in hospitality

hospochurch.org is managed by Andrew, who has worked for many years as a Human Resources Manager to the Hospitality sector across New Zealand and Australiahospochurch.org is commited to the local church and encourage all to be part of a local church which is Christ centred.  As well as giving into the work of the local church, hospochurch.org is committed to practically showing Christ's love to the poor through financially supporting www.worldvision.org.nz

Ephesians 5:18 says:  Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit (NLT).  If you or someone you know has a drug and/or alcohol problem, please contact us, and we will endeavour to point you in the direction of an organisation to offer support.
